Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities: - Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently - Prepare and package medications for distribution - Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed - Enter prescription information into the computer system - Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals - Answer phone calls and address inquiries or concerns - Maintain a clean and organized work environment - Adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program preferred - Current Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) is a plus - Previous experience working in a hospital or acute care setting is highly desirable - Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices - Proficient in medication administration, including inhalation and IV infusion techniques - Familiarity with aseptic technique and sterile compounding procedures - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written We offer competitive pay rates and comprehensive benefits packages for eligible employees.
